What is with TV?
Have you watched TV lately? What the hell is wrong with it? Stupid commercials, stupid reality shows and more commercials. If you don’t know by now i HATE commercials. They are pointless in my book. They don’t sell me a thing, as far as I am concerned they just take up valuable Seinfeld, Simpsons, Cops, To Catch a Predator or CSI time.
When I watch TV I try my hardest to avoid commercials (thank you DVR), but sometimes, I will sit through an info-mercial. You know what I mean? They are full length commercials, sometimes set to music. At least I am not missing anything, because it’s on late at night when nothing else is on.
Well, last-night, I saw one on QVC I think, for some spray that totally helped any hairdo! All you had to do was “spray it into your hands 5 times” and thrash it around in your hair to make the sexy mess of a hairdo look. Then you were ready for a night on the town. OMG! How homo is that. It’s really more entertaining to watch these than it is to see some of the regular television shows these days (i.e. American Idol).
Any-who, just wanted to voice my opinion on that one

Farmer Abducted by Aliens!
Just kidding. The farmer was abducted in a internet love scam gone bad. Do any of them go good? Anyway, the Australian farmer flew to West Africa (no scams from there) to meet his future bride, but instead was met by a well dressed man.

Yeah, I guess once I saw the huge knife and a gun, without a female present I would have thought things were going south as well. I am not sure if I would ever travel across the world for love, especially since you cannot count on anything these days. How lonely do you have to be to get sucked into something like this? I read these stories and think to myself, what is up with these people that they cannot see past the real life things?
Oh well, I guess I should just be happy it will never happen to me
Destination Truth on Sci-Fi
Have you seen this show? Destination Truth is on Sci-Fi Wednesday nights. It chronicles a team of “truth seekers” into unknown parts of the world to find truth in urban myths and mystical creatures. Some of them are well-known, like BigFoot and some of them are not well-known, like the togalosh.
In talking to the locals you get to hear some pretty graphic and otherwise lengthy stories about these creatures. Most of the time they have a “resident expert” on hand so that the Destination Truth crew can learn first hand what they are going to be dealing with.
The show is entertaining, educational and relatively creepy in the sense that people actually sometimes think some of these things really exist. But who knows, maybe they do and we all sit here thinking those types of people are idiots. Well, nonetheless, this show tries to bring a little truth to the whole thing.
Booster Seats for Children Under 4’8″, What About Short Adults?
This topic was brought to my attention yesterday. The fact that any child under 4 foot 8 inches tall, needs to be in a booster seat while in a vehicle. That is all find and dandy, but what about the adults that are under 4 foot 8 inches tall?
Does this make sense? Or are adults “old enough” because they are adults and they don’t need the booster? What is the booster for anyways? I guess it would be so that the child will fit correctly into the seat belt if they are a bit higher in the seat. I don’t know, this is just a random rant for the sack of ranting. It caught my attention so POW! here it is!
