Well, at least my world.  I like to get answers to the many questions that people make the answers up for.  Do you know what I mean?  When someone is trying to make a point, they make up an answer, to make the point, to a question they have been asked.  For example, how many men are cheating on their wives?  Ask a female, they say all of them are.  Ask a male and he might say some, but most likely will say none do.  What is the %? 

I always wanted to get a nice group of people (1,000 or so) and see what the %’s would be.  I know that 1,000 people isn’t the whole world, but it’s better than a group of 6 friends that are arguing over the answer, even though it may or may not be their opinion.  So, I would like to change the world by the use of polls on my blog.  I will post some interesting questions that I would really like to see the data on, and you can help me with the data.  The only thing that I ask, is that when you vote, you tell your friends about my “experiment” so they can vote too.  Maybe even throw a post up on your blog, if you have one, and link to the poll directly.  It isn’t required, it’s just that the more people we have the better data we are going to get.  Then I can post my “findings” in a post after the poll closes.  Get it?  Good!

Although it may just have been “invented” by Hallmark-ians, Sweetest Day is for real and you know you do NOT want to forget this one!  Coming up here on October 20th, you just might want to skip out for an hour or so to do some shopping.  Get something, don’t just blow this one off or go at the last minute, there will be nothing left when you get “there”.  That’s just how it works.  Here are some decent, but possibly last minute ideas.

1. Dinner and a movie
2. Roses, or any other type of favorite flower, don’t forget the nice vase, they love that
3. Diamonds (they are forever), in necklace or bracelet form
4. A favorite scent of perfume (whether you like the smell or not)
5. Anything from Victoria’s Secret (talking about men buying for woman here)
6. Maybe just a hug and a kiss on the cheek is enough, but I wouldn’t count on it
7. Book she’s been talking about for a year

There are plenty more as I am sure that you all know, but these are just a couple that I can think of off the top of my head.  For me it’s easy, a night together with music, movies and/or a nice dinner.  Good luck to everyone, just REMEMBER, do NOT FORGET!

Richard Simmons (www.richardsimmons.com) was on The David Letterman show lastnight and I must say, it was one of the funniest interviews that I have seen in a while.  He kept making fun of how “shiney” Richard looked and things like that.  If you take a look on Youtube.com I am sure you’ll find a clip or 7.  In all seriousness though, Richard Simmons is fighting to get physical education classes back into the school systems.  If you go to his web site, www.richardsimmons.com, you can vote or send an email to a congressman about this very serious issue!

First, take a look and see if you can find the video, it is quite amazingly funny.  And I think Richard, or “Dicky” as he called himself at one point, actually was getting upset and yelling at David.  Of course, David Letterman couldn’t help but laugh.  Like him or not, it’s all about the comedy and if you like comedy, you will love the clip!
