Top Commenter Prize Goes To…..

Looks like the prize of 250 EC (entrecard.com credits) will be going to Mr.Gee of www.mrgee.info.  He participated in this blog more this month than I think anyone else has in the last 5+ months.  Thanks Mr. Gee and to the rest of you, see what you are missing by lurking?

Get on the train and participate in the community and give back a little :)   It doesn’t really take all that much to do on any blog.  You are already here and reading a post for whatever the reason might be, why not, at the bottom of the post, leave your 2 cents worth of a comment?  You get “entered” to win every single month, with backlink AND if you have a blog, you latest blog entry is posted within your comment.  How cool is that?

If you need more reasons to comment on my blog, subscribe and I will keep you in the loop!

Stock Tips by TheBuyList.com

A lot of people hear about the stock market, maybe some are even scared of it, but in all reality, it is also a place where one person can make a nice living from.  Now, don’t let me make you think it’s any easier to make money in the stock market than it is online, because I have tried both, and making money online is much easier.

Maybe I just wasn’t educated well enough in the stock market ways or maybe it was because I didn’t do more research than I did.  Who knows, but for me, it’s easier to make money online at this point.

I guess what I am saying is that if I had the options available, like the information on Investment Research – TheBuyList.com would have been a perfect place to start my research.

There web site shows which mutual funds bought and sold at what percentage it bought and sold for.  They also provide a wide variety of analytics for your use.  That way you will be able to decide which stock is better to purchase.  These stats can help you answer questions like “Which other stocks were bought by the same fund when the fund bought my stock?” or “What’s the buy/sell percentage of a given stock among all funds that bought or sold that stock?”

Back by Popular Demand – ProjectWonderFul.com

I have been back-n-forth with my Projectwonderful.com ad boxes in the last couple of weeks.  I didn’t want to put ads all over the place on this blog, but then I thought, it’s really nothing more than my entrecard widget, so why not?

Some people are making decent money with their ad spots and if you have good content and traffic, you can attract advertisers.  Since the cost is PER DAY, you can really clean up, as long as you can keep the spot full.

My ad spot is inside the first post of my homepage.  Premium ad space by many top bloggers’ standards.  What is the price?  $.50 per day.  I don’t think that is bad at all.  This is on an experimental basis of course, but I will leave it there to see how it performs through the month of Feb.

They Like Us, They Really Like Us

The people have spoken, StumbleUpon.com that is.  I had my consumer reports post stumbled and it looks we made it to the popular websites page for Consumer Info.  This was not my intention at all, but the stumblers proved to really like my post.

I can’t really take much credit for it, because I was just the messenger.  But I did add a little bit of quirkiness to each of the Top 10.

Nonetheless, I did get some nice taffic from StumbleUpon over the last two days.  According to Google Analytics, over 3300 pageviews for that post alone with over 1800 visits (84% of traffic) from StumbleUpon!  Thanks guys!
