Pepsistuff.com Points: Get Things for Free, Well Almost
*Update 3*
I just bought the DVD “Sicko” with my Pepsi Points. It is so cool that amazon.com allows you to buy the merchandise with your pepsi points. I think it’s better than putting the points into sweepstakes! What do you think??
*Update #2* I just recently purchased the cute little MP3 player with my 175 Pepsi Points. The shipping was free and I was blown away when I saw that it was on my porch in ONE day!! Thanks Amazon.com & Pepsi!
*Update* I have almost 170 Pepsi Points right now and I am working towards the MP3 player. I think I need about 75-80 more points at this time. How many points do you have?*Update*
PepsiStuff.com is the newest promo to take the soda world by storm. Starting in just over 2 days (on Feb. 1st), you will be entering the codes found under special yellow caps on Pepsi and Diet Pepsi. At this time I am not sure if there are other Pepsi products included.
I am assuming that this will run similar to Coke Rewards, but we will have to wait to see. You will be able to bank your points, from the codes found under the caps, to purchase items in their shop. From the looks of the web site they have up now, you will be able to get music downloads, TV downloads, apperal and to enter sweepstakes with your points.
In my opinion this is the best type of promotion that any company can do to boost sales. The only problem that I have with it is that you are really paying a lot more for these items in terms of soda cost. For the amount of soda that you purchase to get these points, you could pay 2-3 times the amount the item is worth.
With that being said and usually a bad thing, it’s still nice to see the company giving back, even if it is just a little bit at a time. Ultimately it would be nice to get a sweepstakes vacation or something out of this deal, but you might as well just stick with the small items and get some return on your cost.
For people that drink the soda anyways, it is a wash. For those people that by Pepsi just because of the promo, they will be the big time losers, unless they win big. Make sense? Thought so, now head over to the web site at http://pepsistuff.pepsiusa.com/index.php and sign up for an email reminder.
Get Paid by Sukosaki.info
**EDIT** I realized that the signup was NOT incetivizable to my readers, SO I had to change it to making ONE purchase to get your $5. Sorry about the confusion, leason learned. It is still a great deal, just think of it as getting a $5 item for FREE!! There are plenty of them on the site, just look around.**
That’s right. I am going to try my first ever incentivized offer. I teamed up with NeverBlueAds and Bidz.com to pay my readers $5 just for signing up at Bidz.com. What? You don’t get it? Well let me explain.
If you do not know what Bidz.com is, well, let’s just start by saying that auctions start at $1.00 with no minimum reserve!!! Bidz.com is really your perfect gift / present solution for any situation. It really is an exciting experience. The best part? I will pay you $5 after you sign up AND make ONE purchase on the auction site. That’s really all that you have to do.
You don’t think that’s worth it? Take a look at the site and you tell me that you can’t find something perfect for that special someone! The web site has so many things to bid on it’s crazy. For a little bit of additional excitement, if a bid is placed within the last 15 seconds of the auctions end, it will automatically be extended another 15 seconds!
It’s well worth the look and if you can’t find any other reason to join, don’t forget you will be getting $5 from me, remember? You MUST have a paypal.com account to get paid. If you want to signup, you can still do that, but won’t get a payment until you have made a purchase.
Digg Marketing by Dean Hunt – Free Report
I just completed reading Dean Hunt’s take on Buzz Marketing. Since I read it 100% I feel like I can endorse it. I found the Buzz Marketing guide at www.webtrafficorgasm.com. Don’t worry, it is not adult content by any means.
What it is, however, is chalked full of somewhat helpful information regarding the use of Buzz Marketing for your blog or website. There is a real time study given and plenty of statistics to go along with it. I think it is well written and easy to cruise through in under 30 minutes.

Consumer Reports Top 10 Rips Offs
If you haven’t ever read Consumer Reports, you should. This month I opened my mailbox to see that I have yet another report to look over. In there they show the Top 10 biggest money suckers in the consumer world. Most products you pay for one time, but in this issue they are showing many products that will cost you money until the day you throw it into the trash and even then might cost $$$ to get rid of.
Let’s take a look at the list:
#10 – Bagged salad. Consumer Reports found up to 83% of the bags tested had brown or “gooey” leaves.
#09 – Cell phone service ads. CR found that most cell phone companies actually charge almost 30% more than they advertised, mostly through hidden fees.
My suggestion? Stick with the TracFone, nobody should be on their cell phone that much.
#08 - Whitening toothpaste. Of all the 41 teeth whitening toothpastes tested, none of them preformed any better than the next.
#07 – Automatic shower cleaner. If this one got you when it came out, you need to stop buying thing because it says “new” on the box. CR shows that most of the time the shower area was worse after a month of use.
My suggestion? Use the product with the “scrubbing bubbles” and a brush, things get cleaner that way.
#06 – Pricey car batteries. Stay away from over-priced brand name batteries for your car. Most of the time they all preform the same, but will cost you more in the long run.
#05 – Quick stain removers. Here is another “new” purchase. Think before you buy and it really plays down to logic. The Tide-to-Go removed only 6 stains out of 48.
My suggestion? Don’t eat like a pig
#04 – Bank gift cards. I haven’t seen these around my area, but after reading about all the fees you could get charged, they are an insane rip-off. If you don’t use the balance within 6 months you can get charged $25 twice a year, even after expiration.
My suggestion? Just get a gift card for Amazon.com or Walmart.com like everyone else.
#03 – “Wild” salmon. Basically if you are buying out of season, you are paying much more for nothing more. Out of the 23 that CR purchased, 13 were from salmon farms. I guess it depends on when you want salmon, but usually it’s better to buy in the summer months.
#02 – Expensive packaging. See that new Mayo container? Nothing left in the bottom, right? They claim “no waste”, but CR found that there was still 11% in the container! Stick with the classic jar and don’t pay more for plastic.
#01 – Shrinking cereal boxes. You guessed it. You thought the cereal boxes looked smaller, but you just assumed it was because you were bigger. Not so, Kellogg has trimmed the size of their boxes, but interestingly enough, the price stayed the same. Keep an eye out.
My suggestion? Don’t even bother with that cereal, it’s bad for you anyways. Stick with something more natural, that way, you pay more, but are actually getting something out of it.
