Baseball Season and Fantasy Baseball
If you are like me, the only thing that makes baseball interesting is that you can join a number of fantasy baseball leagues that are running throughout the internet. One thing that I really never thought of, or maybe it was because I wasn’t into it 150%, was using software to help me with my league. Now, we all know there are about 1,000 ways to run a league and 1,000′s more rules to each one. Using web based software to help with statistics, injury reports and things like this. We all know, and I have learned the hard way, that if I am not up on stats or injuries one week, that can make a huge difference in how your team plays.
Having the software is a huge advantage and it provides some of the best features allowed. Some like:
o Player rankings based on Predictive Modeling by PhD scientists
o Most advanced Draft assistance tool – all the data needed to make the right decision about any player
o Full season roster management including updated mid-season projections via artificial intelligence
With software that can help you in these ways, there is no reason that I can imagine you can’t come out somewhere near the top of your league.
More Than One Egg
When you are looking for ways to monetize your blog or website, don’t forget one of the golden rules; Don’t have all your eggs in one basket.
What does this mean exactly? Always find more than just one way to make money online. If you try to focus on one tactic in the beginning that will be find, but once you got that one way under wraps, go ahead and find another.
Most of the time when you set up a way to make money, there will eventually be a period where you can put it on “cruise control” long enough to learn another way. If you aren’t sure why you wouldn’t want to keep all your eggs in one basket, do a simple search for way to make money and you will find that almost all bloggers will say the same thing.
Where to Start
Many people will start with Google Adsense or YPN (Yahoo Publishers Network). That is the easiest thing to implement into blog templates and many templates will come with areas that you can just “plug” the code into.
You can also check out affiliate networks like Neverblueads.com or PepperJamNetwork.com. Those are two eggs that I have in my basket that are working for me. I have made over $400 with ONE post through Neverblueads.com and in the meantime have been working on setting up ads with PepperJamNetwork.com.
Now What?
Well, sit back and take in the stats. You always want to give your ad experiements about one month. Don’t fold on them so quickly. My post about CallYourPlay.com is still making me money today and that promotion for Mt. Dew and Madden football is long over. You just never know what type of situation will make you money, so stick with it at least 30 days.
When to Stop
Never! Why would you want to stop something that is making you extra money? If you have a reason, it better be a good one. If you ever think that you will have to ditch blogging, make sure you get yours appraised and see if you can at least sell the blog at sitepoint.com or even in the forums.digitalpoint.com.
Now, stop reading and go make some money!!

Time to Get Naked! Naturally…
I recently was part of a sampling program through PPP. The product was from naked naturals and it consisted of a natural shampoo and conditioner samples.
First things first, the smell was awesome. Lavender is such a nice smell and I think it was stuck in my nose for a couple of days! Anyway, I don’t have a lot of hair on my head these days, but what hair I do have certainly enjoyed the samples.
I try to keep my home as natural as possible. Whole foods, organic foods, natural cleaning products and NOW, naked naturals products for the bathroom.
Above is the products that were sent to my home in sample form. If you go to the website you can get more information on each item.
