Get Lasik Facts and Information Before Proceeding

Many people these days are switching from contacts and glasses to corrective eye surgery. I have even thought about it myself, but really get freaked out when I read about the bad things. Plus that ONE episode of the Simpson’s didn’t help either.
With recent LASIK information showing that over 94% of the patients that had the surgery are 100% satisfied, I feel a little better about it. The other thing is the price really isn’t all the bad these days, if you conside the cost and upkeep involved in other methods.
If you are considering the Lasik surgery don’t foget about a few key things. And those are:
Not everyone is a good canidate so ask your doctor if you are eligible. Some people have thinner cornea’s and this would make the surgery more difficult.
Always ask for a recommendation for a good doctor. You never know what’s out there and you don’t want to be in the small 4-5% that aren’t satisfied.
Does it hurt? That is a common question and for the most part is fast and painless. Only 1% experience the worst results. With the popularity of Lasik and the advances in technology, there is no better time to get your eyes fixed forever, than now.

Home Run Derby Just Insane
I cannot remember the last time that I even watched an entire baseball game on TV. But the All Star events that surround the actual game are always fun to watch. One being the home run derby. Last night, Josh Hamilton belted 28 home runs in the FIRST round alone. I couldn’t believe it.
And when it was all over, I bet Josh couldn’t believe it either. He had lost the derby in a final round 5-3 against Justin Morneau. I still, after reading about it today, can’t believe Josh Hamilton hit 28 in the first round. I think he might have been so spent that he couldn’t finish on top.
What do you think?
National Treasure 2 – My 2 Cents
Last night I watched National Treasure 2 on DVD. I didn’t think it was that bad at all. I really like Cage as an actor and seeing the first one, I knew the 2nd would be equally as good.
Some of things did seem far fetched, but that’s how it is in movies, right? With that said, I really think they created those “impossible” things perfectly and it all flowed real well with the movie. From start to finish I was drawn in. By the 12th minute, the dvd started to skip, but I did whatever I could to watch the rest of the movie.
I recommend it if you haven’t already seen it and now I sort of wish I would have caught it in the theaters. Maybe next time
WarGames 25th Anniversary – Back In Theaters

I couldn’t believe that I saw that one of my favorite movies when I was a kid, WarGames, is going to be shown in select theaters again. With great movies like Back to the Future or Breakfact Club out in the 80′s, it’s really nice to have the chance to see this one in the theaters.
Movies like Back to the Future or Breakfast Club are so memorable because they are original and you don’t see that a whole lot anymore. So many movies are repeats or rip-offs of last years Oscar winner. When I see movies from back in the day on TV I love watching them for the simple fact they bring back those memories.

WarGames 25th anniversary is coming up and the movie is back in selected theaters nationwide on Thursday, July 24th. You will also get a sneak peak at the sequel, titled WarGames: the Dead Code. Even though the showing is for one night only, you will be getting extra footage and interviews with cast members, so I think that is nice. I think theaters should go one step further and bring the price of admission down to what they were when the movie came out the first time, but that’s just me
