Merchant Account Services by OnlineCheck.com

If you are running an ecommerce business, or any other type of business online that requires credit card for payments, you are going to need some sort of credit card processing service to do this. Onlinecheck.com offers up a unique service and the perks are pretty nice as well.

I have one ecommerce site and at first I didn’t think that I would need any type of merchant account.  Then when it seems orders were going nowhere, I thought I would look into it.  Of course, when you search online you will find tons for “free” merchant accounts and credit card processing services, but you really should always do your research before buying into them.

OnlineCheck.com is a system that provides a great service with NO fees, NO contracts and a FREE credit card machine to go with your account.  Not to mention your account will come with a 30 FREE trial so that you can try out everything before you jump in with both feet.

Why would you do with Onlinecheck.com?  Here are a couple of reasons that I think are good ones:

  1. 7% payback over 12 months
  2. Lowest rate credit card processing
  3. Approvals in 24 hours
  4. and the warm fuzzy feeling of millions being funded nationwide.

If you would like to get more information regarding what type of credit card processing services they offer, click the link and you will be taken to their homepage.

ContestLive.com: Vote for Your Favorite Online Contest

Do you have a favorite online contest that you want to tell more people about?  What about a contest of your own?  Well, I would like to mention that you can find them both at ContestLive.com.  This website is the newest project by a good online contact of mine, Matt from BlogAboutYourBlog.com.

With all of the contests floating around the internet today, it’s nice to see some websites pony up and get them all in one place, or two.  ContestLive.com was were I posted a recent contest that I had on AffiliateObsession.com and I think my contest ended with 5 votes.  I got a lot of visitors to my contest page from that site and I think as it grows, you contest will benefit even more!

As more and more contests get added, the prizes you could win get even better.  Even if you don’t have a blog or website, take a look at the blog contests that are currently being voted on, you never know what you might win!

WebHostingRating.com: Good Website Resource

We all blog!  Yes we do and we all know that having good webhosting for our blogs and websites is very important. There are many, many out there and some even offer FREE webhosting.

One of the first things that you want to find is a good webhost, when getting ready to start a website or blog.  With so many different companies to choose from, you will need to know the in’s & out’s of each one.  One thing that I like to do is a quick Google search to find reviews on certain webhosts, websites, products or services before I spend my hard earned money.

For webhosting, there is a great online resource at www.webhostingrating.com.  There you will find a ranking system of many of the best hosting systems out there.  You can check out Unix or Windows hosting, reseller hosting and even dedicated hosting.

There is also a list of the Hosting Awards from 2008.  Best budget hosting, blog hosting, forum hosting and many others to learn about.  Believe it or not, there really are small differences in all the hosting types for each type of website, blog or forum.  Be sure to know what you want from your host before digging in, this will keep problems to a minimum later.

With all of that AND web hosting articles, you can really learn a lot about a host before making a purchase you might regret.

Olympics are over, bring on the NFL!

After getting about 5 emails to remind me that all my preseason fantasy football information should be gathered and I am gearing up for my online draft, I am reminded that summer is ending and football is starting.

With the Summer Olympics all closed and the USA with the most golds, sorry, had to throw that in there, we can all shift our focuses to football and what the NFL can do for us (at least on Sundays).  Yahoo provides a nice fantasy football “arena” for both subscription based and free programs for every one.

I am a member of Yahoo’s Pro Football Pickem and the regular season 2008 fantasy football league.  I will be keeping up with blog posts regarding that as the season goes on and of course, you can plan on my complaining when my top player is out for the season!

So, don’t forget about your football pools and whatnot, it’s that time of the year again.  Too bad for me it just means Winter in the Midwest, is getting closer.
