This is the first blog that I have put the most work into.  Other than getting a custom theme done up, I have adjusted just about everything else.  I really like Wordpress and I don’t plan on changing to another format anytime soon.  So, at the end of this month, this blog will be 6 months old.  I thought I would post some quick stats so that I have something to compare on the ONE year anniversary.

Posts:  About 240-250 (about 41 per month).  I can’t really go by the post ID because I have deleted one or two posts over the past 6 months.  By the time you read this, it will be up to 250, easy.

Categories:  I currently have 15 categories and I think that is too many.  That might be one of the reasons that I cannot pinpoint a topic for this blog.  It’s been all over the place, but lately I have been focusing on internet marketing tips, tricks and whatnots.

Money Made:  This blog didn’t really start out as a “make money online” blog, but I found some nice ways to monetize my blog and blog traffic.  So these stats aren’t all that important to me, but I will mention them nonetheless.
Neverblueads.com: $354.27  which comes to roughly $59/month with CPA offers.
PayPerPost.com:  I have 37 posts for PayPerPost.com totaling $302.13.  That comes to about $50/month with paid reviews.

Visitors:  This blog has had much success with ONE keyword, callyourplay.com.  (search Google if you don’t believe me)  That’s right, it is quite strange to me as well.  Since I noticed that a lot of people I know use a search engine to find a website BY web address, it became clear to me to use the web address in my titles.  All of a sudden, BAM, I have traffic and I don’t know what to do with it.  In about 6 months my traffic stats are as follows: (according to Google Analytics)
 9,644 Visits
8,801 Absolute Unique Visitors – very nice, but mostly looking at one post
 13,239 Pageviews
 1.37 Average Pageviews
00:00:48 Time on Site – extremely bad – too many people with nothing to do here
79.18% Bounce Rate – not too bad, would be lower if not for that one post
 91.28% New Visits

Here is where some of my traffic came from:
google (organic) – nice
yahoo (organic)
(direct) ((none)) – even nicer IMO
aol (organic)
stumbleupon.com (referral)

Last, but not least, the TOP 5 Posts:
CallYourPlay.com – by Pepsi and Mt. Dew – the ever so popular CallYourPlay post (ranked 2 in Google search)
Sukosaki.info – Tid-bits of this, that and the etc – home page
CallYourPlay.com Visitors From Google.com
Basic Blog Tips for 2008
Shoemoney.com asks “What is MY Edge?”

I cannot think of any other stats that are important right now.  I will just compare these stats again in 6 months.  If I come up with other stats to take a look at, I will mention them at that time.
