Today.com Makes Bloggers Money
It looks like we can add another website to the long list that will pay you to blog for them. Today.comhas a system in place that uses wordpress.org and they will pay you $1 per 100 word article and 0.002 per impression on each post.
You can get paid for ONE post per day, but that doesn’t mean that you cannot post anymore than that. The more traffic that you get, the more $$ you will see in return.
Today.com is FREE and it’s quite easy to apply for. I was accepted in just under a day at theblog.today.com. There I provide what tips I know from blogging, writing, advertising and traffic generation. If you are a new blogger, you might want to check that out after you read through my recent posts here.
If you want to join the blogging party of at Today.com, just use this link and make sure you read about their affiliate program. They will pay you $5 for every blogger you refer and bonus up to $250 per month if you can be a top blogger.
New Affiliate Blog, of Mine, of Course
Hello to all the loyal readers from the last 8-9 months. I just wanted to let everyone know that I have started a new blog about my affiliate marketing experiences. I will be removing most of the posts from this blog and it will become my “new” personal blog. Covering topics in the news, movies, television, paranormal, internet, gaming and more, this blog will continue to rock the internet, but will not possess any affiliate marketing/promotion information.
I moved the blog because I have been playing with PPC affiliate marketing, among other things, for about 4-5 months now and thought that I knew enough to start a blog focused on that topic alone. I am NO expert but I feel like I taught myself enough to teach others like me, beginners!
If you would like to see the blog, you can do so right now, www.affiliateobsession.com, or by clicking here. The posts are coming at a rate of about 1 per day and are full of information regarding your first attempt at PPC marketing and more. I am really trying to keep this blog on topic and I will NOT be doing any paid reviews. Since the rest of my blogs are accepting reviews and Google smacked them, I am going to try and get a decent Google PageRank.
So, if you are subscribed to this blog for the affiliate marketing, money making or blogging tip information, you can head over to AffiliateObsession.com and subscribe there. If you don’t want to subscribe, which is fine, take a look at some of the posts and leave your 2 cents. I have blogging, affiliate and money making resources there as well.
Thanks for reading Sukosaki.info and I hope to see you over at my new blog!
HostGator Spring Special – 20% off with Coupon Code
Currently I am using HostGator as my blog host. ALL of my blogs are hosted with HostGator and right now, I couldn’t be any happier with their hosting service. With features that include:
- 600 Gigs of Web Hosting Space
- 6,000 Gigabytes of Bandwidth
- Host UNLIMITED Websites
- FREE Instant Setup
- 99.9% Uptime Guarantee
- 45 Day Money Back Guarantee
- 24/7/365 Upgraded Support
…I really couldn’t go wrong. The customer service has been excellent and I am able to set everything, including add-on domains, right from the control panel. I like things that are easy and require less setup time and customer service involvement. I am pretty skilled at setting up websites and familiar with how the “back end” works, so the hosting at HostGator is a refreshing experience.
I just wanted to let you know that if you haven’t found any reason to switch to a new web host, HostGator is offering 20% off your initial order with the coupon code: spring. If you haven’t switched yet, give it a try, but you have to hurry because the coupon code expires on June 1st! Even if you don’t like it, you can take advantage of the 45 day money back or you can start to move all of your sites there. Like I did
Get Reputation Using Cool Slogans and Taglines
You see a lot of blogs online that have cool taglines. Just to name a couple well known blogs:
- ShoeMoney.com – “Skills to pay the Bills”
- John Chow – “I make money online by telling others how much money I make online”
- John Cow – “Making money online by milking the internet”
- LifeHacker – “Tips and downloads for getting things done”
- Problogger.com – “Blog tips to help you make money blogging”
- GoogleTesting.blogspot.com – “If it ain’t broke, you aren’t trying hard enough” (they even have a nice post about how life is too short for slogans)
As you can see I picked some of the more well known blogs in the niches that I am interested in, but the point is that they have taglines or slogans that match the niche they are in. The made a name for their blogs, by pushing their taglines all over the place. A slogan or tagline is supposed to stick with the reader after they leave your blog. If you do it correctly, your blog will have the same affect.
I know there are a lot more blogs with slogans that are much better, but I just shot through a bunch that I know and are more well known throughout the niche.
What types of blog slogans have you come across in your daily surf through the interweb?
