I Read BloggingExperiment.com
I have been keeping an eye on BloggingExperiment.com for the last month or more. I really like the theme (it’s for sale, too) and the blend between personal and “business” topics makes for a nice read.
The blog is about one guys quest to earn a full time income in 1 year blogging. Recently, he posed the question, “what do I do once I reach my goal?”
Well, wouldn’t you keep blogging? If you reach your goal of a fulltime income blogging, you will have to keep blogging to keep the income, right? You might as well make it a useful resource for beginners with the same “dream”. At least that way it doesn’t disappear into nowhere land (which is HUGE in the online world, by the way) and you can continue to make money.
Your readers, however many you have gained, will want you to keep posting, right?
Do-Follow Your Comments to Gain Discussion
I just happened to start thinking about why people comment when the link back is no-follow. I decided to search Google and see if I can find a plugin that will allow me to turn the No-Follow into Do-Follow after a certain number of comments.
Enter: The All Passion Link Love plugin by allpassionmarketing.com. This simple to use plugin will allow you to add a Do-Follow tag to a readers comment AFTER a set number of comments. This can be whatever number that you want. I have mine set at 5 comments on this blog, as I hope to be able to raise my readers discussion in time.
I think that it is an excellent think to have Do-Follow, why not reward people for their efferts? Who cares what Google thinks?
Have you seen an increase in readers since you started offering rewards for comments on your blog?

I Read BlogaboutyourBlog.com
I am a regular reader at BlogAboutYourBlog. I think they have many excellent tips for a new blogger, as well as, some advanced tips for those that have been around awhile. I am writing this post to show appreciation for the information they have provided for me in my first 6 months as a blogger.
Everyday I get an email (subscribed to email updates) and there is very few times where the post isn’t very helpful. Tips about getting traffic, making money online, creating a blog brand or improving on your design. All of those things are very good information for when you are starting out and want to separate yourself from the pack.
Blogaboutyourblog is an excellent resource for bloggers that want to follow a real life example in the blogging world. The blog has been around about 1 year and there you can see, step-by-step, how everything is done to create a blog that people will want to read!
Don’t Forget Hosting for Your Blog
If you are thinking about setting up more than one blog at a time, you should really take a look at your hosting company.
First of all, do they allow multiple domains hosted on ONE account? Why is this important? Well, you might be able to host all of your blogs on ONE account and that would make things easier for you in terms of paying and managing your hosting.
Secondly, make sure that you can create enough databases. What does this mean? Well, if you are setting up Wordpress blogs you will need to have a database to go with each one. The hosting company that I use right now is Dot5hosting.com. They allow 25 domains on each account and up to 5 databases right now. They are in the process of upgrading everything to include unlimited domains and unlimited databases!
That is a lot of space and power for a blog host. I run multiple blogs and having the ability to host all my domains and databases in one place is a great help.
Third, always check to see if your host has an affiliate program. Most of them do and if so, you might as well sign up and promote the host that you use and get something in return for it.
