Just searching around Google today, I see that one of the top search trends is Black Friday Ads. Yes, folks it is that time of the year again and people are going to be flocking to the stores the day after Thanksgiving to get the best deal on who knows what.

For the most part, Black Friday has been a good day for retailers (last year one person did die at a Wal Mart). It’s named that because it’s a day when retailers can say the books are in the black and they aren’t LOSING money. Most people don’t work, stores are open way to early in the morning and everyone is trying to the that damn Tickle Me Elmo doll. Well, that’s what was HOT a couple of years ago, I am not even sure what the deal is this year.

I would have to assume that electronics is a big hit again this year. HDTV’s, digital camera with 10 million pixels, camcorders that record all by themselves AND upload to Youtube.com, things of that nature. I just wanted to post the top 3 sites for a Google search of Black Friday Ads for 2009. That way you can get right down to business if you happen to be reading my blog instead of doing what you are supposed to be doing today!

www.Black-Friday.net

www.2009BlackFridayAds.com

And there you have it! Now you don’t have to do a Google search and you can check out the latest and greatest deals for 2009 Black Friday, right from Sukosaki.info! Enjoy!

I have tried to get back into exercising and thought that if I made a CD with songs ranging from 3-4 minutes long, my workouts wouldn’t seem so bad. Saying that, I created a list of songs that I use to keep me going and the workout “seemingly” shorter in my head.

If you have songs on your iPod that last 3-4 minutes you can change what you are doing in the workout everytime a new song comes on. With 10 songs like this you will be through a 30-40 minute workout in no time at all and in your head you won’t even realize that you just worked out for that long.

Here is what I have on my list (always changing):

B52′s – Love Shack

Black Eyed Peas – Pump It

Blondie – Call Me

Finger Eleven – Paralyzer

Papa Roach – Last Resort

Cypress Hill – Insane in the Brain

Salt & Pepper – Shoop

Kenny Loggins – I’m Alright

Daft Punk – Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger

Lou Bega – Mambo #5

Vanilla Ice – Ice Ice Baby

Justin Timberlake – Sexy Back

The Offspring – Self Esteem

Most of my CD’s include these songs and others, but the 13 listed here are the base almost always.

(not in any order)

Buying from an ad on TV: This one is a no-brainer, but why are there still infomercials on TV? My guess is that people are still buying from these ads. No they offer you a risk free trial just to get your CC number, since you aren’t going to remember to cancel before it’s too late, this one is a big money waster. Woman’s Day suggests looking the item up on eBay to save money, sometimes up to two payments of $49.95!

Failure to Return: Not returning an item bought online because it doesn’t fit can be a big money waster. The color of your new bookcase doesn’t match the rest of the colored furniture. If you think you don’t have time to take it back, think about the money you are wasting by keeping something you don’t even like. Woman’s Day suggests taking any item you have a receipt for back to the store and shoot for store credit at the minimum.

Credit Card Protection: This is one of my favs. You just opened another credit card and now, two months later, you get a phone call asking if you’d like the payment protection. Of course you DON’T, but what happens if you get hurt at work? Payments might be made, but your interest is racking up at the same time. Woman’s Day suggests finding out if you are paying these types of fees and if you are, call now to have them cancelled and if you didn’t request it, ask for a refund.

Wrong Cell Plan: I really have an issue with this one because I use a Tracfone prepaid phone. My minutes carry over, which is plenty every month, and I only get charged $5.99 per month for activation. It kills me to see people on their phones all day long and wondering why they don’t have extra money. Woman’s Day suggests calling your cell provider and asking them what plan would work best for you since you are going over your minutes with the current plan.

Paying for Storage: Mini storage units, garages, extra land needed to store things that have accumulated over the years is a big waste. If you are paying a monthly fee for more than ONE month for storage, you have too much stuff. I think that as more people move into condos and apartments become nicer and cheaper, storing things might not be a bad idea. If you have to pay month to month for storage, you might be able to just sell what you have and move on. Woman’s Day suggests taking an inventory of everything you have stored and decide if you need it. If not, you can sell the stuff on many different places online like Craigslist.org, eBay.com or Half.com. If you don’t want to take the time to see it all, give it to Salvation Army or the Freecycle.org chapter in your area.

There you have it. 5 money wasters that I bet most of you reading this are thinking about making changes to in the near future. If you like this list, give us a Stumble, send this post to a friend or subscribe to our feed for future posts.

I wanted to start a blog with just LISTS of things on it, but then I decided that I have too many blogs already, so I would just add a category to this blog.

I will be starting this category off with a list I found online, regarding the 5 ways to tell you have a lousy job. This list is from MSN.com and has my 2 cents thrown in on it.

1. You dread going to work.

Who does like going to work, right? I know there are some that love their job, but what % is that?

2. You get no enjoyment from your day-to-day responsibilities.

I think this might be tied into the #1 on the list. If you dread your job, you won’t find enjoyment, right?

3. You are uncomfortable with the company culture and environment.

This I can understand. Some people have morals and ethics. When you get into a company that lacks this, some might be discouraged, uncomfortable or otherwise without a doubt.

4. Your relationship with your boss is turbulent.

Well, I don’t think that bosses are assholes to begin with. The people that he must answer to are the ones making this guy an ass. Think of all the pressure he is put under. If you can picture who he is answering to when he makes decisions you don’t think is right, you might feel different about the situation.

5. You see no opportunities for career advancement or enhancement.

Well, it depends on where you want to go. There are plenty of schools and no reason you cannot go back to learn another trade or get another degree. The trick is making sure you don’t waste too much time at a dead end job. Maybe figure it out, but use it as a resume padder, if you will.
