Get Excited for Ghost Adventures New Season

Remember the show Ghost Adventures? The last show that was on TV was in January of this year and I haven’t seen anything more than re-runs since then. I miss the show. I know that you cannot believe EVERYTHING you see on TV, but at least Zac, Nick and Aaron are entertaining to watch, for now.

Shows like Ghost Hunters, Ghost Hunters International and Extreme Paranormal used to be fun to watch. The reason I cannot watch those anymore is because they have lack of evidence caused by a lack of equipment. Right? I mean, if you were “hunting” ghosts, don’t you think you would have about 45 cameras to operate at any given time? Why is everything that is “caught” a personal experience that is NOT on tape?

So, the new season of Ghost Adventures should be starting up soon (Sept. to be exact) and I hope it brings new locations and better footage this time around. I don’t want to get bored with this show like I did with Ghost Hunters!

Do you watch Ghost Adventures? If so, what do you think?

Extreme Paranormal – New TV Show on A&E

This week, I watched the first couple of episodes of a new show called “Extreme Paranormal”.  The show airs on A&E and it seems to follow in the footsteps of Paranormal State.  The show includes 3 men that have experience in the paranormal and, apparently, their own radio show.

The first episode included a lot of provoking, ritualistic scenes and SOME, only some, evidence.  I don’t mind their approach, but the drama of the “story” is carried out way too much with this show.  Paranormal State is similar in my opinion, in that, the story is focused on a lot more than actually getting the holy grail, evidence.

Trying to provoke a spirit is nothing new, can get out of hand, but is also a good way to get activity in front of the camera.  These guys take it one EXTREME step further and put themselves in ritualistic situations to try and conjure up what dead might still be around.  The one thing that bothered me right out of the gate is that once there is evidence, it is AUTOMATICALLY the person in the story, haunting them.  Why can’t it be old Grandma Jenkins from down the block?

The second episode that I watched included some voodoo rituals, which they cut out of the show for “our protection”, and some conjuring to the tune of burying a guy in a coffin and playing some voodoo songs.  LOL  The show seems to have a decent direction, at least in the first two episodes, but I am not confident that it will be able to keep an audience for very long.

Will the show prove me wrong?

GhostHunters on Tonight!!

I have been watching Ghosthunters for some time now and I have only been impressed about 5 times.  I guess that’s not that bad, because it’s something.  I really like learning about the paranormal, so I get a little excited when Wednesday rolls around.

Tonight’s show is taking place in an abandon train station.  Buffalo Central Terminal looks pretty spooky and I am not sure how long it’s been abandoned, but I would bet they can get an EVP or two from this place.  Watch the trailer to tonight’s show here:

Ghosthunters Back on Sci-Fi

As you know, I am a fan of the paranormal.  I have never really had my own personal experience with it, but I find it very interesting to watch on TV or read about it.  The best show for watching paranormal, in my opinion, is Ghosthunters and that show is on Wednesday nights on Sci-Fi.

This portion of their season started off with a bang and the Ghosthunters team managed to come away with a couple of personal experiences and 2-3 pretty cool EVP’s.  I really think they have a good team that works well together, but I am still a little miffed they don’t have more equipment on each person ALL the time.  What are they afraid of?

Last night Grant was in the attic looking up and thought there was something “running” straight towards him so he ducked out of the way.  Wouldn’t that have been a good time to be holding a camera?  Those guys should have miniDV’s attached to their bodies for things like that.  And when they ARE holding cameras, I would rather see what they are looking at, instead of what’s up their noses.  Point the camera where you are looking!!

Anywho, this will hopefully be a good season to watch and I will be blogging about as it goes on.  If you are interested in the paranormal, let’s chat.
