TailgateApproved.com – What a Lame Product
I just saw a Bud Light ad, TailGateApproved.com, for a case of beer with a SPEAKER in the box. Why would you want a speaker in your case of beer, you ask? Well, it’s simple, you can attach your MP3 player to the box and listen to music while you tailgate!
What do you think of this product? I personally think it’s a pretty lame excuse for a beer product, but that’s just me. I do drink beer, in fact, I drink Bud Light, but I find it tough to get into some of the promotions that beer companies put on.
I guess the Lizards from back in the day weren’t too bad, the What’s Up guys made me chuckle, but those things were promotions that I did not have to pay for.
It might not be as annoying as the advertisements for the Fox Farve Cam though, lol!
The Best Halloween Costume Is…
Well, you can’t expect everyone to think the best Halloween costume is any character from Seinfeld, right? I love the show and if I could dress as Kramer or Newman for Halloween, that would be just awesome.
A lot of people try and get costumes that will mimic news stories or celebrity deaths can spark a costume. Michael Jackson’s death this year, and the controversy surrounding it, might actually make the costume quite popular.
The Michael Jackson listed above is the “Bad” costume and can be yours for only $180! That is quite cheap in comparison to other costumes that are more in depth and extravagant. Nonetheless, it really depends on the type of person you are. There also plenty of “sexy” costumes, but more of those will NOT win you an costume contests.
Halloween is getting more and more popular with adults more than ever. In fact, I read in a magazine (source) that 51.8 million is the “number of adults that don their sexy nurse, pimp or pirate outfits on Halloween”. And that is only for those 3 costumes, imagine all the presidents, TV stars and celeb look-a-likes out there. Over 5 billion dollars were spent on the holiday last year and I am sure that number will climb this year again.
