I just bought the DVD “Sicko” with my Pepsi Points.  It is so cool that amazon.com allows you to buy the merchandise with your pepsi points.  I think it’s better than putting the points into sweepstakes!  What do you think??

PepsiStuff.com is the newest promo to take the soda world by storm.  Starting in just over 2 days (on Feb. 1st), you will be entering the codes found under special yellow caps on Pepsi and Diet Pepsi.  At this time I am not sure if there are other Pepsi products included.

I am assuming that this will run similar to Coke Rewards, but we will have to wait to see.  You will be able to bank your points, from the codes found under the caps, to purchase items in their shop.  From the looks of the web site they have up now, you will be able to get music downloads, TV downloads, apperal and to enter sweepstakes with your points.In my opinion this is the best type of promotion that any company can do to boost sales.  The only problem that I have with it is that you are really paying a lot more for these items in terms of soda cost.  For the amount of soda that you purchase to get these points, you could pay 2-3 times the amount the item is worth.With that being said and usually a bad thing, it’s still nice to see the company giving back, even if it is just a little bit at a time.  Ultimately it would be nice to get a sweepstakes vacation or something out of this deal, but you might as well just stick with the small items and get some return on your cost.For people that drink the soda anyways, it is a wash.  For those people that by Pepsi just because of the promo, they will be the big time losers, unless they win big.  Make sense?  Thought so, now head over to the web site at http://pepsistuff.pepsiusa.com/index.php and sign up for an email reminder.
