30-3 in a baseball game? I remember those days..
Remember back in the little league days when there was always ONE team that would put a whoopin’ on just about any team they played? I know you’d like to forget it, but what the Texas Rangers did in the first game of a double-header, brought back some memories.
For the first time in about 110 years, a major league baseball team scored 30 runs in ONE game. The Rangers beat the Orioles 30-3. That was more runs than the Rangers scored in the previous NINE games.
“I knew we’d get the bats going, but I never expected anything like this,” Texas manager Ron Washington said. “When the faucet is on, you want it to stay on. You never want to cut it off.”
One grand slam and TWO batters with double homer games, shows that just about anything can happen and you will never know when it is going to happen. Sadly, though, these are the only games of baseball I enjoy watching
