That’s right folks, A-Rod was sent to a hospital to get an MRI on his sore ankle, then talked himself into the lineup.  What happens next is amazing and hasn’t happened for almost 30 years.  He hits TWO homeruns in ONE inning.  Does this mean the MRI has something to do with it?  Could the MRI have possibly given Alex Rodriguez the extra power to hit TWO homers in ONE inning?  Whew!  I am not sure if baseball wants this one to get out to the public.  Players be bonking themselves on the head just to get to the hospital before the “big game”.
A-Rod said,

“Kind of messed with my routine a little bit,” Rodriguez said. “I wasn’t very fired up about that.”

ny.gifI bet it messed with his normal routine of not being a super-human homerun hitter. We will have to keep an eye on this new trend, if it gets out of hand, just think of how the demand for an MRI will raise the price of one!
