All College Gets You is the Severance You Get When You’re Fired
I have posted about this before. CEO’s that don’t do anything, or very little, while they are head of a company, but get paid HUGE packages when they are “let go”. I can’t believe that. How messed up is this place when you actually pay someone when they DON’T DO THEIR JOB?
I see it posted on MSN Money every couple of months and I read it every time! The list is getting longer and making me sicker each time. The story on MSN Money is titled “The 5 richest payoffs for fired CEOs”
This has always made me sick. Companies actually pay their CEO’s a severance package, even if THEY LOST MONEY the whole time they were in charge. What is wrong with this country? If I went to work and didn’t do my job for 5 years, I would be shit canned in a matter of a week WITHOUT any pay!
The Home Depot CEO was my favorite. He banked over $200 million when he was “let go” from Home Depot and while he was CEO the stock dropped and they lost money, every single year!
I guess what I am trying to say is that these days, if you can afford college, this is what it’s good for. You have the right “paper work”, or “education”, you get the job, you suck at it, we’ll still pay you. Guys like me that make a living online, at least don’t have to deal with he bullcrap of people telling me what to do or some 20 year old, straight out of college with a bug up his ass to make a difference, telling me that I am not worth as much to a company as he is because I didn’t attend some college.
