Blogs Make Money, Does Yours?
Believe it or not, blogs do make money. Do you have one? Have you thought about ways to make some money? It’s your virtual real estate, it’s worth something to the people that are visiting right? Well, then there is also value to advertisers that want to reach the people coming to your site.
There are also about 100 decent ways to monetize your blog or website. This blog does make some money. The main source of income for this blog is advertising with through CPA (cost per action) affiliate advertising. The company that we use is Neverblueads.com. The program works pretty slick. I have been a member for about 4 months and starting making money right away.
CPA will pay a publisher after a user completes some kind of action on the advertisers website. This can be something like completing a sale or even as little as entering your zip code. Advertisers will pay a publisher something like $1.50 per zip code or email address collected on their page. You might think that $1.50 isn’t a lot, but if you get 10 people to convert per day, that’s about $450 per month! It can add up fast. You can see a link to a post that made me $300 at the top of this blog or check it out here.
Another way that this blog has made money was with the Yahoo Publisher Network. This program works just like Google Adsense, but not as good. The ads were placed on the top of sidebar and made me a cool $9.11 since 10/13. I don’t really have the amount of traffic that would warrant a large some of money from this program, but in due time I am sure it will pick up.
So, if you are new to blogging and want to try and make money with your blog, first read the basic tips, search the web for ways to get traffic and make sure you have good content. Good luck and post here if you have ways others can learn from.
