EntreCard.com – Still Not Sure About It
I have been using Entrecard for some time now, but I am still not sure that it’s worth it. Granted you do gain some exposure that is obviously important and the price is right. I am just not too sure about the actual traffic that you get from people dropping cards.
The stats are quite low as far as pageviews and time on site for visitors sent from the Entrecard site or ads placed on other blogs. I decided to leave the card on my sidebar because of the exposure. I come in contact with the stats every week and always check to see where people are coming from, where they are going and what they are clicking on. The under 30 second time on site is bothering me.
I am not 100% sure if EntreCard.com has really sent me any readers. I would have to dig through the stats again to see if I can find readers that left comments or at least checked out a link or two in my blogroll. That ads some value to my site and might even create a bookmark on someones browser just for me.
In the meantime I am going to keep an eye on the stats and I think that if the time on site stat drops to under 5 seconds, I would have to dump the card from my sidebar. Since my blog has been stuck at about 40 subscribers and there are new blogs added to Entrecard.com every week, I am going to keep trying to draw in the new guys and see what happens.
What are your succes stories for EntreCard, if any?
