Fantasy Football Time Again
If you are anything like the millions on of other people around the US and world, you play some sort of fantasy football. Well, I play with a couple of friends every year through Yahoo Fantasy Football. They have free leagues, private or public, that you can set up and invite your friends to join. We usually get around 10 players or so and play by picking games against the spread. We also toss a couple of bucks a week into the mix so that we can make it more interesting
We pay out the most games picked right every week, then the 3 highest scores at the end of the season. It’s fun and gives me another reason to watch football games every now and again. I would probably watch them anyways, but this adds to the excitement, especially since the spread adds a whole different dynamic to the game.
Playing Fantasy Football can get a little boring, but there are so many websites out there
now that add little twists to every game. There are some that keep track of points, others you join where you actually choose a team and points are scored if they tackle, score, kick a field goal and things like that. So, it can get in depth and take a lot more of your time every week. I just go with the regular way, choose the winner against the spread. That’s about all the time I have left for fantasy football when all is said and done in a specific week.
