With all the news coming in the recent weeks about Google’s OS and Microsoft interested in Yahoo (again), it makes me wonder what really is going to come in the next couple years.  The “Big 3″ could make a huge impact on how we value the internet and the space provided on it.  Google is untouchable in the online ad industry and Yahoo might still be the #1 site on the net, but where does Microsoft fit in?

Have you used Bing?  I don’t think that Microsoft has any clue (of course, I am a Google fan) what users really want online, but I have NOT used there search in over 5 years.  I like to read about the Microsoft/Yahoo saga and the news that Google plans to take over the world in more ways than one.  It makes me feel good that whatever these internet companies can come up with is usually a good thing for the public.

In my bias opinion, I just don’t see how Google can do any wrong.  They have resources and a shithouse full of cash to spend every year.  Top techno-geeks from all over the world get jobs there all the time and you know what all that brain power in one building can get you!  Googles ads, browsers, applications, online tools and such are just a drop in the bucket to what this company can do in the long run.

I always dreamed that Google would come up with free worldwide wireless internet.  Of course, there would be ads involved (unless is a wet dream, then ads won’t be needed) and I want to be the first to say that I WOULD watch ads every day when I turn on my computer, as long as my internet connection was FREE.
