Since Romance is in the Air…

With the holiday of love just around the corner, I wanted to post about this great hotel that my current fiance visited in the Chicago area last year.  The hotel was in the shape of a circle and the rooms where octagon in shape.

The views were just amazing and of course it was quite cozy and romantic at the same time.  Well, we stayed for just the one night and wanted to find some fun things to do in Chicago.  Before we hit the sack that night, we checked out the directory in the phone book, brochures in the hotel and any other paperwork we could find laying around.

That is where Trusted Tours & Attractions would come in handy. The website has so many family vacation ideas and information on where and how to plan a nice vacation, it is a one stop shop for vacations.

Ultimately we decided to hit the Shed Aquarium and it was amazing!  What a great place for a younger couple to enjoy the afternoon.  There are so many things in the wild that I never even knew about.  It was truly educational and fun at the same time.  We’ll go back again for sure!

Actually right now, they are running a contest for people that sign up for their newsletter. You can win a digital camera, just for signing up. How can you go wrong? You will get excellent information regarding vacations and a chance at a new digital camera. Seems like a win/win situation to me.

Chicago does have alot of cool places, what was the name of the hotel, or did I miss it? I only know of one place downtown that is round..and it used to be a mental hospital.. hehe.. I live in the Windy City Suburbs – it is presently -6 degrees..

I have stayed several times at what was once the Loews House of Blues, not sure it’s still under same management, but it still is awesome. Moroccan themed, and the bar area has the feeling of I dream of Jeannie – and there is a little tiny room off the right side, its round, and has pillows..no kidding like Jeannies Bottle. If you get a chance to check it out.. its right next door to House of Blues
