Sites with NO ADS, Really?
I was thinking today about Craigslist.org, the free classified web site without ads, and thought to myself, how can there not be ads on that web site? I understand that not everyone in the world is all about making a quick buck, but isn’t it still a little strange?
Maybe I am still a naive internet guy, but I think that monetizing the site would only be a positive thing. They don’t have to get all crazy and go nuts with ads or pop-ups or anything like that. They really could just sell “Featured Listings” and call it good.
It got me to thinking if there are any other “Big Players” out there that don’t have ads posted on there web sites. After a quick Google search I came up with few, but I will keep looking.
Have you come across any web sites you think are big time, but don’t see any ads on?
