WarGames 25th Anniversary – Back In Theaters
I couldn’t believe that I saw that one of my favorite movies when I was a kid, WarGames, is going to be shown in select theaters again. With great movies like Back to the Future or Breakfact Club out in the 80′s, it’s really nice to have the chance to see this one in the theaters.
Movies like Back to the Future or Breakfast Club are so memorable because they are original and you don’t see that a whole lot anymore. So many movies are repeats or rip-offs of last years Oscar winner. When I see movies from back in the day on TV I love watching them for the simple fact they bring back those memories.
WarGames 25th anniversary is coming up and the movie is back in selected theaters nationwide on Thursday, July 24th. You will also get a sneak peak at the sequel, titled WarGames: the Dead Code. Even though the showing is for one night only, you will be getting extra footage and interviews with cast members, so I think that is nice. I think theaters should go one step further and bring the price of admission down to what they were when the movie came out the first time, but that’s just me
