Bridge Failure in Minnesota
While watching Fox News (which I NEVER do) the other day I see the breaking news about the bridge collapse in Minnesota. That kinda makes you think doesn’t it? Anywhere, anytime, anything that is mechanically or environmentally engineered, could possibly fail.
Next time you are jacking up your car think about how the jack could fail. You always want to have a back up plan. Unfortunately, being told the bridge was unsafe back in 1990 didn’t do a whole lot of good the other day when it finally came-a-tumbling down.
I drive over bridges all of the time and, like so many others, just assume that the bridge is up to code and safe to drive on. Even if I am the 1,000th car to pass over that bridge, it should be safe or closed down for repairs. I feel bad for those involved in any level of this accident, especially the ones who will have to do the explaining.
Did anyone that was involved see the MothMan nearby at all?
