Oprah Winfrey Finally Calls It Quits – Talk Show to End in 2011
After only a quarter of a century, it appears that Oprah is gonig to call it quits and quit the daytime talk show racket in September 2011. Of course, I am not going to say that she will disappear after that, I mean, she is a media queen and can market herself in just about any manner. Why would she give up her “bread and butter”?
Oprah has made a name for herself and at one time was the only African American billionaire in the world. She has climbed the ranks over the years, gained and lost some weight, had special guests and even more special events on her show.
She has come a long way from being brought up in poverty and losing her only son in infancy, to becoming one of the most influencial woman of all time. Just watch her show, people flock to buy any product (or book) that she mentions, no matter what.
