Many people search on the web.  Some of those people knowhow to use a search engine and others are confused by how to use a search engine.  When you type in a keyword to search for and get weird, or unmatching, results, it’s more because you didn’t search correctly than the search engine not working right.

Search engines are made to bring you what you are looking for.  You might as well get involved and enjoy the experience as well. Leapfishdoes this all at one time!  I went to this new search engine and I typed in “Wisconsin winter” because it is among us and it’s always nice to see some pictures of the havoc it brings with.  Immediately I notice a couple news results, followed by web search results, video, twitter, blog and image results all pertaining to my keywords.

I especially like the Twitter results, as well as, the results of any item on Digg.com related to my search. Leapfish really packs all of the web into one place, quickly!  You can see the web results and easily switch between Google, Yahoo & MSN results.  Surprising to most, the results can be different allowing you to see even more content in one place.

There is also an area that will show you shopping results for your keywords, which is nice if you are looking for products or reviews of a product you want to buy.  The real time search is mostly Twitter results updated in real time so you can check those out as they happen.  Stay on top of things in a certain topic without having to visit more than one site!

Give it a try, it’s really quite neat and the site isn’t all jammed full of ads at the same time.
