I Signed Up For SocialSpark.com
Some of you know that I have been doing posts for Payperpost.com for a little more than one year. For some of you that know about Payperpost.com you also know that they started a new website for bloggers to make money and that one is called SocialSpark. Well, I signed up for that one as soon as it was available for beta.
I made some pretty good money with PPP, and it really made me a better writer. With more advertisers and features for bloggers, I knew that I could do even better with SocialSpark.com. The new user interface is really nice and I love the little flame guy as a mascot. SocialSpark.com is based on a new ranking system by Izea called, realrank. This actually measures the visitors and pageviews and puts a number to it. Then it takes your numbers and puts them against the other in your category. The lower the number your blog has, the higher you are ranking among other blogs.

SocialSpark.com brings advertisers and bloggers together in a mash up of statistics (realrank), opportunities and bonus payments for the best posts. As a blogger you have options that you can take provided that you are qualified. Those include a sponsored post (like this one), blog sponsorship and a free post known as a spark. If you take a spark you are basically creating a post for someone and not getting paid for it. Kind of like a “scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours” type of thing.
With each opportunity you can leave comments, give “props” and talk to other members that have taken the same opp. This creates a nice community feeling among the advertisers and bloggers. Giving “props” to an advertisers allows them to see how the bloggers feel about the requirements and payment for the opp. I think it’s nice rating system to use and it can only help the overall community in the long run.
