Just when you thought you saw all the possible websites available on the net, a site like Kerchoonz, comes along.  The website is really a new thing, to me anyways, and really looks like it could be a big hit.  The online music world has always been out in front in terms of the newest player, coolest technology or the hottest place to get downloads.

The basic premise to the site is to compensate the artists for offering their music to listen to for FREE.  If you are an artist that isn’t with a label or cannot seem to get your music out there enough, the site is for you.  The more your music is listened to the more money you will make on the site.

The site is easy to use and FREE to sign up. You can post videos for others to see, create a blog and widgets to go with it. The community is tight and includes a blog and forum area for your favorite music discussion.  Not only is the site music related, it creates a place where artists, filmmakers, fans, business people and technologists can trade in a free environment.

Our mission is to provide a social platform that enables all of us to explore and create, listen and be heard, give. receive, and discover. Kerchoonz was founded by musicians who believe that arists and musicians should be encouraged and also compensated for their work.

With that being said, I think it’s a site where creative minds would certainly fit right in.  Why not give it a shot and see what all the buzz is about!
