Today I have finally decided to purchase a new battery AND charger for my Kodak EasyShare camera.  The battery charger hasn’t worked for about one month.  I think it was charging or plugged into an outlet that was affected by lightening when we had some severe storms this past month.

I figured my camera was an older version, so why not check ebay.com for the charger.  Before that I wanted to check local stores like Best Buy, Walmart and Target just to make sure I couldn’t get it locally.  Well, I can’t so that leads me directly to ebay for my search.

I didn’t think that it would be this tough to find a battery for a camera, especially when I have all the model numbers and things like that.  After about one whole day of screwing around with auctions on ebay that just made me wonder if the item would work, I finally chose one.

None of the pictures looked like the item that I have, but they all say they are compatible.  I guess we’ll see when the new charger arrives, now I just hope the battery isn’t shot as well
