Bad Week for My Pro Football Pickem Team
So, I just barely got my picks in before the first game on Sunday. I think the time was 11:50am when I finally clicked “save”. Whew! I really thought I had some sort of handle on the picks this week and the spreads didn’t seem all that hard to cover.
What do you think happened?
The first set of games proved to be my best. I had 2 points. Yes! Only 2 points after the first set of games. I couldn’t believe it and I knew this was not going to be a good week. Since I was among the top to challenge the person in the lead, I had to recover.
Without changing any of my picks I just sucked it up and went into the 2nd portion of the football day. And, I am sorry to say, I didn’t get a singel PICK CORRECT for the last half of the games. What a disappointment and now I am going to be in “catch up” “risky player” type mode just to see if I can finish in the money (top 2 only).

Well I tied for first place this week, lost to that meddling superjly, though this post I’m answering is actually from a week before this week.

You guys are doing pretty good this year, I think people are starting to pay a little more attention to their picks than in previous years.
