Baseball Season Can’t Get Here Soon Enough
I have already had it with the Olympics. Don’t get me wrong, I am fine watching a couple of the high profile events, like speed skating, BUT just because the Olympics is on that means every other channel is showing crap.
Of course most of the viewers are stuck on the Olympics, but why does every other channel have to go into repeat mode? It’s just like when the Super Bowl is on and everything leading up to the Super Bowl is great, but that day, it’s all about the Super Bowl and nothing else.
Now that they sun is coming up sooner and setting later, I know that baseball season is right around the corner. The Milwaukee Brewers are selling their tickets starting Feb. 27th and I cannot wait to get my first bunch. Playing teams like the Cardinals and Dodgers should be worth seeing. Not to mention S.F Giants are thrown in there as well.
I have been invited to a couple of fantasy baseball leagues too, but I think I am going to go with a “just for fun” league since I haven’t done baseball before. That way, if I get my butt kicked (most likely to happen) then I won’t have to worry about it being a waste of my money.
Stay tuned, I am sure there will be some ranting and raving about how my pitcher gave up 8 earned runs and that my 3rd basemen committed 3 errors in one game. But hey, it’s still makes the sport that more interesting to watch!
