Brett Farve Goes to the New York Jets

After about one month of accusations and rumors, the Green Bay Packers have finally decided to trade their hall of fame quarterback, Brett Farve.  The lucky, and yes I mean lucky, team is the New York Jets.  One reason the Packers are ok with this trade?  They will be less likely to have a game against the all star quarterback, ever.

Even though I have been a Packer fan for some time, it is nice to see Brett Farve playing again.  I think that he has at least 5 years left in him before the concussions start and possibly sideline him for his career, ala just about every other older quarterback in the league.

It’s also refreshing to see the Packers finally make a decision and stick with it.  After going back on their word more than once, they stuck to their decision and hopefully all the parties involved can move on.
