This past month or more, I have been to 2-3 Brewer games.  I like the atmosphere, even if they lose.  We have bleacher seats in right field and usually are quite comfortable in the shade.  That, however, is never the problem with going to the game.  It’s more about how they are playing the game that bothers me.

This past Sunday, we went again and they played the Dodgers.  Now, I expect the Dodgers to win because they are one of the best teams in baseball this year.  The issue is that when the Brewers are leading the game at any point, why can’t they finish it that way?

Sunday’s game started out just like most of the others, a couple of runs for the opponent in the first couple innings and the Brewers cannot even manage a hit.  Although, they weren’t hitting the ball, they are leaving runners on base that have been patient enough to gain a walk.  Leaving runners on base is one of the worst habits they have coming into the All Star break.

Nevertheless, the Brewers lost, but really did start to make it exciting around the 7th inning when they decided to get the bats going.  The game finished with the Brewers losing 7 to 4 to the best team in the league.

Still a nice way to spend a Sunday, but it would sure be nice to see a win, at least while I am there.
