Fantasy Baseball Season Has Arrived
Because I had so much fun with fantasy football this past fall, I thought I would give fantasy baseball a try. Not really knowing what I was in for, I joined a league that my fiance’s brother started over at ESPN.
I made it through the draft and quickly realized that it was nothing like fantasy football and that I was going to really have to pay close attention to what was going on in baseball to stay up in the ranks. Because there is more games in a baseball season, more players to get injured and pitching combinations that can ruin your day, I will be doing as much reading as possible.
I am a Brewer fan and after our first loss of the season I am going ok with a 5th place out of 10. The point system is quite interesting and unlike fantasy football, where you are paired against each other weekly, fantasy baseball is an all out “get the most points and win” type of league.
Like I said, I will have to keep an eye on more than one thing at a time, but I hope that I can finish in the top 3 at least. Wish me luck!
