I have been collecting the PepsiStuff.com points for about 3 months now and I have also purchased a couple of items through Amazon.com with them.  I have always been happy with the process and how fast the items are shipped.  I just have an issue with the amount of selections you have.

I think that Amazon and Pepsi should come to terms on all products, or maybe a just 10-15 from each popular category.  Now I sit with 200+ codes in my account and nothing to use them on.  I don’t think using them on the sweepstakes is worth it, but I might have to do that since I think the promotion ends on in early November.

I also kicked around the idea of using the points to buy the items that are available and using them as Christmas gifts.  Times are tough and the economy sucks, but don’t forget about Christmas.  If you think the government is going to bail YOU out, don’t hold your breath!

Alright, now that we have all seen the website that Pepsi was blabbing about for a month or so, I have decided to login into the PepsiStuff.com website and see what it is all about. First thing that threw me for a loop? Login with your Amazon.com information. That I really wasn’t expecting, but really, who doesn’thave an account? So, wondering what that is all about, I login and to my surprise, you will be able to shop Amazon.com with your PepsiStuff.com points!! Tell me that isn’t cool. Below are examples of products you can purchase.

How do I shop from PepsiStuff.com?
The PepsiStuff website allows you to enter Codes, view your Points balance, and track the Points you have used, and provides easy links to eligible products available on Amazon.com. PepsiStuff.com is always a good place to start when you are ready to go shopping with your Points, and to view featured items from the available categories. To get items you want, you must visit the Amazon.com product detail page for the item, and select the Get this for <#> Pepsi Points button.

Providing easy links to Amazon.com I think is an understatement. It is so easy I wasn’t even sure where I was when I clicked the link. It might seem confusing, but if you read the HELP section first, you won’t be left in the dark.

After entering the codes I had from 12 packs (2 points each), I decided to browse the items and sweepstakes. The items they giveaway include Trips, Home Theater, Zune MP3 Players, Flip Camera and a daily Cash give-a-way.

The main categories of products available for purchase with PepsiStuff.com points include MP3 Downloads, Unbox TV Downloads (seen below), CD’s, DVD’s, Electronics and Apparel.

As I was looking through the products at Amazon.com, I started thinking if the caps were available on eBay. Well, I haven’t seen any of them yet and didn’t really see anywhere that it mentions you cannot sell the caps. I am sure they will pop up soon enough, after all, eBay.com does have just about everything!

After saying all of that, I think that it’s pretty cool for Amazon.com to step forward and except Pepsi Points as payment on specific items. Save your points up and buy the items or enter them for a chance to win great prizes everyday! Either way, it should be a good promotion for Pepsi.
