TailgateApproved.com – What a Lame Product
I just saw a Bud Light ad, TailGateApproved.com, for a case of beer with a SPEAKER in the box. Why would you want a speaker in your case of beer, you ask? Well, it’s simple, you can attach your MP3 player to the box and listen to music while you tailgate!
What do you think of this product? I personally think it’s a pretty lame excuse for a beer product, but that’s just me. I do drink beer, in fact, I drink Bud Light, but I find it tough to get into some of the promotions that beer companies put on.
I guess the Lizards from back in the day weren’t too bad, the What’s Up guys made me chuckle, but those things were promotions that I did not have to pay for.
It might not be as annoying as the advertisements for the Fox Farve Cam though, lol!

I love to blog about sweepstakes. If you like to read about them, BUZZ us up by using the button at the top of this post. It appears that one of my favorite sodas has another promotion going on. Greenlabelgear.com is a promotion by Mountain Dew and has the web in a buzz.
You can get the codes for Greenlabelgear.com on Mountain Dew (20 oz. & 1 liters) bottles and on the bottom of the aluminum Green Label Art bottles. The codes are a bit shorter than normal, making it much less of a pain to enter when you have a whole pile of them. The promotion is as simple as all of the others. Don’t be confused, since the caps are red, and try to enter them into your PepsiRockBand.com account, the codes will NOT work. Here are 4 basics listed on the site:
- Collect codes from specially marked orange or red bottle caps on 20 oz. and 1-liter bottles of Mountain Dew products or from the bottom of Green Label Art aluminum bottles.
- Enter codes into your Green Label Gear account. Each code entered is good for one sweeps entry.
- Choose the number of entries you want to use toward each prize now or save your entries for later.
- Each sweeps entry qualifies you for a daily Grand Prize drawing. The Grand Prize includes all six Green Label Gear items. The more codes you enter, the better your chance to win.
This contest is a short one and is actually over on November 19th, 2009! All that means is that you need to get your butt out and get those codes as fast as you can. If you are addicted to Mountain Dew, like I am, this will not be that hard for you to do.
